Live Music

A musician’s room.

Live music five nights a week.

Flamingo is a musician’s room, run by a musician. Owner Angela Laino is a bartender and a player, and the programming reflects it — the stage is curated rather than filled, and the calendar is built to move your feet and your soul rather than to fill a slot.

The shape of a weekend here is deliberate: live jazz early, a DJ late. Friday and Saturday open with a jazz set from 7PM to 9:30PM, then the band steps off and the floor opens until 2AM. Come at seven if you want to listen; come after ten if you want to dance. A dress code applies on both nights.

Every Week

The residents.

The Invite — Wednesdays, 8:30PM

A curated jam across three sets of live music. Players come to sit in, and the room fills with musicians as much as an audience. Free entry.

Live Jazz — Fridays & Saturdays, 7–9:30PM

A proper jazz set to open the evening, before the DJ takes over at ten. DJ Stelliott holds the Saturday late slot.

Happy Hour & Games — Thursdays, 6–8PM

Rotating entertainment through the evening. Thursdays close at midnight rather than 2AM.

Every Month

The nights worth planning around.

Latin Night — third Thursday

Dance lessons from 9PM for anyone who wants them, then a DJ from 10PM. $10 cover.

SHAYOO — first Friday, 10PM

A night of pure Afro energy, taking the late slot after the jazz set.

SWEAT — second Saturday, 10PM

A dance party, named honestly: if you are not sweating you are not doing it right.

Studio 54 — last Saturday

A disco tribute to close the month, with a themed dress code to match.

Live Comedy — last Thursday, 8PM

A stand-up show in the room. $5 cover.

Lit & Fit — Sundays, 9:30AM

Yoga and mimosas — the one morning the room opens early.

Dates and covers for each night are listed on the week, and the kitchen is fully plant based. If you play and want a set here, we take pitches directly — send your music, your instrumentation and the length of your set through play with us.

See you tonight.
